This page is a general starting draft, written to plainly describe how Kelopak Lane actually works today -- it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer, and shouldn't be treated as a final, legally airtight agreement. If a dispute ever needs to be settled by these terms, have a qualified lawyer review and adapt this before relying on it.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By browsing Kelopak Lane, placing an order, or signing up as a florist partner, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
2. What Kelopak Lane is
Kelopak Lane is a marketplace: it connects buyers with independent home florists ("florist partners") who arrange and fulfil each order. Kelopak Lane itself doesn't grow, arrange, or store flowers -- your bouquet is made and handed off by the florist partner you ordered from.
3. Orders and payment
Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include the bouquet plus any add-ons you choose; delivery fees are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
Payment is handled through our supported methods (FPX, Touch 'n Go, and DuitNow). We never see or store your card or bank login details -- those are handled entirely by the payment provider.
4. Delivery
Delivery is carried out by third-party riders. Delivery windows and fees are estimates based on distance and the florist's own availability -- unusual traffic, weather, or rider availability can affect actual arrival time.
Some bouquets (fragile or large items) are flagged as car-delivery only, which may cost more or take longer than a motorcycle delivery.
5. Cancellations and refunds
An order can typically be cancelled before the florist begins preparing it. Once preparation has started, cancellation is at the florist's discretion, since real flowers may already have been cut or arranged.
If an order can't be fulfilled or delivered (e.g. the florist can't source the flowers, or delivery genuinely fails), we'll work with you and the florist toward a refund or resolution.
6. Digital gift cards and AI-assisted messages
The gift card composer can suggest a message using AI, based on a short description you provide. You're always free to edit or replace the suggestion with your own words before sending.
For quality and support purposes, we keep a log of AI-suggested messages and the messages people actually send (whether AI-assisted or typed by hand), along with whether you were signed in at the time. This log is automatically deleted after 3 months.
7. Florist partners
Florists who list bouquets on Kelopak Lane are independent business owners, not employees of Kelopak Lane or Rubidium Technologies. They're responsible for the quality, accuracy, and timely preparation of what they list and sell.
8. Limitation of liability
Kelopak Lane facilitates the connection between buyers and florist partners, and the payment and delivery logistics around it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for losses arising from a florist partner's own products or conduct, or from delivery delays outside our reasonable control.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform changes. Continuing to use Kelopak Lane after an update means you accept the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
